Rain situation was big again. Every team try to learn wet-track. And end of day teams said the word. Vettel didn’t hear anything i guess. He passes his team-mate in last couple laps and wins the grand prix. Webber was very angry about after cars parked. Newey didn’t look happy too.
Unlike Redbull, Mercedes hold Rosberg behind Hamilton. And Hamilton gets last podium place. I don’t know what was Mercedes’ strategy about that but we saw Rosberg was very quick and Hamilton needed to save fuel. Why didn’t they let go. I can’t anything about.
At the start grid was very different. Alonso started 3rd and battled for 1st but lost his front wing and retired very early. Massa started 2nd but wet-track move him along way back. But round about end he got few places back and finish 5th.
I liked Nick Heidfeld’s tweets about race. He made things clear. And give few insights about the teams.
Lotus’s very struggled in the middle pace. But end of the day they finished 6th and 7th. After them Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez followed. And last point goes to Jean-Eric Vergne.
Mclaren was quick early on but Button had pitstop problems. And Perez didn’t show much pace. Force India also had problems and both drivers didn’t finish the race. Maldonado was out again like last week.
There is of course things were make people smile. One of them was Hamilton said “Hi” to ex-team Mclaren coming in their pitstop line.
Later two week see you in China. (13-14 April)
